The winners will use the iPhone. Let's talk.

There is a Sea Change happening in mobile computing and databases. I provided the system structures of the first successful database management system over 40 years ago.  Now I am making the data visible and portable - reducing the errors of bad or no data input.

Of the 10,000 iPhone apps and 300 million downloads thus far, the majority have been games - many free or 99 cents. But besides fanboys playing games, there is a growing group of users that recognize the iPhone for the revolutionary tool that it is ... a very capable and complete portable computer in your pocket with network and phone connectivity. More and more serious applications are appearing .. drug databases, corporate financials, personal organizers, etc.

I intend to produce a series of tools with a database foundation. Yes, the iPhone has relational database capability built-in. Starting with simple single file databases suitable for anyone to maintain work logs or mailing lists,, we will progress through useful relational databases in your pocket all the way up to network connected database applications for activities such as shop floor control, shift and on demand work scheduling and contact paging.

Stay with me and I will make the whole migration path cost effective for you - in both dollars and time. Here we go. ...

This page is new and a Work In Progress .....
